How do I access the Slimming Program?

Members can log on as often as they wish via the Members section and can consult their personalized Slimming Program at any time. To log on, simply click on the "Members" link and enter your EMail address and your password. You will then be able to access all of the following Clinique Minceur services from the menu bar: "Weight-loss/Vitality Program", "Recipe Corner", and "Meal Structure"

What is MACROMEDIA FLASH 4?

MACROMEDIA FLASH 4 is a brand of computer technology being used to power multimedia animation. This leading-edge technology is free, widely used and allows for the creation of highly interactive and engaging multimedia consultations.

How do I know if FLASH 4 is installed on my computer?

MACROMEDIA FLASH version 4 or superior must be installed on your computer in order to access your personalized Slimming Program. If you are able to view the Slimming Program demonstration as well as see and hear the animation, this means that MACROMEDIA FLASH 4 is already installed on your PC.

If you are unable to see and hear the animation, simply download the Flash 4 "Plug-in" by following the instructions on our Demonstration page: Demonstration. It only takes a few seconds and is absolutely free. Then, just follow the installation instructions provided on the Macromedia website. The Flash 4 "Plug-in" is installed off-line, i.e., when you are not connected on the Internet. You must also close all other programs that are running before beginning installation.

Do I need to verify my computer's technical specifications before signing up?

Clinique Minceur services are accessible via all IBM compatible and Macintosh PCs. However, in order to view the consultations, the FLASH 4 "Plug-in" must be installed on your computer.

What should I do if I lose or forget my password?

Simply send an EMail to the Technical Support and they'll send you a new password.

I am unable to access the first stage of the Slimming Program. What should I do?

Make sure that your membership has been confirmed by EMail. If your membership fee was paid by cheque, we will EMail you a confirmation as soon as we've received payment. There may be a few days delay before we receive your cheque.

Make sure the Flash 4 or superior "Plug-In" is properly installed on your computer.

Make sure that your EMail address and password are correctly entered before attempting to log on. If the server doesn't recognize your EMail or password, you will be refused access to the site.

I am unable to access the next stage of the Slimming Program. What should I do?

Did you follow your personalized menu for the required 7 days?
Please note that the Slimming Program consultations are given on a weekly basis. You can only access the following stage 7 days after you've received the previous one. This delay is necessary in order to provide you with sufficient time to follow the suggested menu before progressing to the next step. However, you may view menus and consultations from past stages at any time.

For how long is my membership valid?
Once you have completed the stages covered by your membership package, we will communicate with you by EMail in order to find out if you wish to renew your membership.

Is it possible to make changes to the information provided during the virtual consultations?

In order to ensure confidentiality and the security of our database, it is not possible for you to modify the personal information entered during the virtual consultations.

However, you will have an opportunity to review your answers and correct them if necessary before validating your entries.

Please note that in order to ensure the relevance and suitability of your Slimming Program, it is very important that you answer questions honestly during the consultations.

In case of dysfunctional result, what should I do?

Empty the "Temporary Internet Files" and UserAgent "Cache" subfolder and try again to run the consultations.

If the malfunction still occurs during a consultation or while on our website, please EMail our Technical Support Division and provide them with the following information:

  • Type et version of your «UserAgent» known as «Browser» (ex. : Netscape 4.8, 6.0 ou 7.1 Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5 ou 6.0);
  • Computer brand;
  • Type of Internet connection (ex.: modem, cable);
  • Precise description of malfunction.

Is it possible to print weekly menus on a single page?

Yes! Simply click on the "Preferences" or "View" option of your browser and select a font smaller than the one actually in use. Menus will easily fit onto a single page.

Site optimization: About Internet Explorer and Netscape

Our site is optimized for the following «UserAgents»: Internet Expolrer and/or Netscape versions 4.01 or superior. Furthermore, the HTML codes contained in our pages meet the requirements set forth by the W3C Consortium.

The following is additional information about browsers:
Over the past few years, Microsoft has released several versions of Internet Explorer: 5.0, 5.01, 5.5 and the last one 6.0.
During the same period, Netscape also released its browser (Netscape Navigator) and has produced the following versions: 4.8, 5.0, 6.0 and the last one 7.1.

These two entreprises offer a free download for their respective products.
Macromedia Flash «PlugIn» comes freely with all versions of Netscape and it installs automatically.
Microsoft products do not come with the Macromedia Flash «Plug-in». For all versions of Internet Explorer you must download and install FLASH 4.0 (Version 4) or superior.
