The pure carbohydrate concentration in foods: |
This week's exercise will help you to associate the glycemic index of foods with their pure carbohydrate concentration, a factor which must also be taken into consideration in order to manage exceptions effectively during Phase 2.

Weekly menus:
You will notice that in Phase 2 menus, all high glycemic index foods have not been systematically eliminated. In fact, menus now include several high index foods that were not allowed during Phase 1. |
There is no limit with regards to the amount of time spent on each stage. However, we suggest that you complete one stage per week.
